Crisis Center/2-1-1

The Crisis Center/2-1-1 is a program of Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health Center and is staffed by paraprofessional volunteers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  The paraprofessional volunteers have completed an intensive 48 hour Crisis Management Training and are available to people needing someone to talk to during a crisis or helps people looking for resources in our community.  This training is invaluable to those in helping professions.

 

The paraprofessional volunteers are community people who want to get involved in helping others.  SPVMHC is always looking for those community minded people who have time to volunteer.  For further information please contact Robyn Helmick or Janie Murphy at 740/775-1260.
