What is NAMI?
NAMI, with 210,000 members nationwide, is dedicated to the eradication of mental illnesses and to the improvement of the quality of life for all whose lives are affected by illnesses such as schizophrenia, major depression, bi-polar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anxiety disorders. We provide local support and educational classes that provide you with a means of sharing and connecting with others with similar experiences. While we learn about the illnesses, we learn about each other.
